The built-in safety tether is designed to clip directly to your dog's harness — not a collar — to safely restrain them during sudden stops or sharp turns. A harness is required for the tether to function correctly; one is not included with the seat, so please ensure your dog is fitted with a suitable harness before travel.

Installation is tool-free and takes under a minute:

1. Loop the adjustable straps around your rear headrest posts.
2. Tighten the straps until the booster sits firm and flush against the seat.
3. Place the padded cushion insert inside the booster.
4. Clip the internal safety tether to your dog's harness before setting off.

Cleanup is simple — the padded cushion insert is fully removable and machine washable. Just lift it out of the booster shell and toss it in the wash. The durable outer shell can be wiped down separately, keeping the whole seat fresh and hygienic between trips.
