This scale is designed for small animals, including cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, small dogs, and toy breeds. The 3 KG variants are ideal for very small or young animals such as newborn kittens and puppies, while the 5 KG variants accommodate slightly larger small pets. It is not intended for medium or large dog breeds that exceed the maximum capacity.

The tare (zero-out) function lets you place a carrier, bowl, or blanket on the platform first, then press tare to reset the display to zero. When you then place your pet inside the container, the scale shows only your pet's body weight — not the container's. This is especially useful for pets that won't stay still on an open platform, as the familiar enclosure can help keep them calm during the reading.

The platform is made from food-grade stainless steel, which resists scratches, rust, and bacterial buildup. Simply wipe it down with a damp cloth after each use. The non-porous surface does not harbour odours, making routine hygiene quick and straightforward. Avoid submerging the scale in water, as the electronic components are not waterproof.
